Overview
Paint and Old Coating Remover Scraper with a Bevelled Blade 5.1 cm Wide and Curved Neck in Silver Finish for Wood and Metal

Removing old paint is a task where the shape and stiffness of the blade matter. This hand scraper has a blade 5.1 cm wide, which is a size that works well on window frames, door frames, skirting boards, and smaller wall areas. The blade is made from stainless steel and widens towards the tip, allowing it to be pushed forward or pulled back depending on how the coating adheres. Behind the blade is a curved neck, which keeps the hand above the surface and prevents joints from rubbing against the wall. The handle is metal and flows seamlessly from the blade, ensuring there are no glued joints that could loosen under load.

  • Blade width 5.1 cm — a compromise between coverage and manoeuvrability, suitable for frames, door frames, sills, and smaller wall areas where a wide spatula would be cumbersome.
  • Stainless steel blade — the material does not corrode upon contact with water or solvents, allowing the tool to be rinsed and stored damp after use.
  • Bevelled shape — the blade widens towards the tip, allowing the edge to gradually pick up the coating without getting stuck on the first irregularities.
  • Curved neck — creates a distance between the hand and the surface, which facilitates pressure along the blade's axis and protects fingers when working near a wall.
  • Metal handle — the profile with grooves fits in the palm and can withstand greater force when prying under a stubborn layer of paint.
  • Universal use — in addition to paint, it is suitable for wallpaper, for removing adhesive residues, for filler, and for hardened dirt on smooth surfaces.
  • Easy cleaning — the smooth blade can be wiped with a cloth or rinsed under running water, and paint residues do not dry into layers that would need soaking off.

Contents of the package:

  • 1x paint remover scraper

When working, it is advisable to hold the blade at a slight angle to the surface, allowing the edge to lift the coating without digging into the substrate. On wood, work along the grain; on metal and smooth surfaces, it can be pushed straight regardless of direction. All-metal construction without plastic parts can withstand rough handling, making the scraper suitable for regular maintenance as well as one-off renovations. The scraper is ideal for preparing surfaces before a new coat, where it is necessary to remove peeling layers and smooth transitions between areas where the paint still adheres. It also performs well during clean-up after painting, when it is necessary to remove paint drips from sills or glass. After finishing work, simply wipe the blade and store the tool, the silver finish remains visible among other equipment in the workshop.
