The narrow grooving cutter with dimensions 5 x 20 mm is designed for milling straight grooves and precise cuts in wood and multilayer chipboard. The cutting diameter is 5 mm and the blade length is 20 mm. The cutter features three carbide (TCT) blades and a 1/2 inch shank with a diameter of 12.7 mm. It is clamped into a router, CNC milling machine, or engraving machine. The entire cutter is silver, with a tapered transition from the shank to the cutting part, and a black ring at the top of the shank.
- Width 5 mm — the cutter creates a groove 5 mm wide with a flat bottom and vertical walls. This width is suitable for narrower joints, recessing thin parts, and finer cuts.
- Blades 20 mm — the working part allows milling to a depth of up to 20 mm. For a narrow cutter, it is advisable to add depth gradually in multiple shallower passes.
- Three-Flute Cutting Part — the three blades alternate in engagement during rotation, so each removes a smaller chip. The cut is therefore smoother than with cutters with fewer blades.
- Carbide Cutting Edges — the blades are made of carbide, which is harder than tool steel. This material is commonly used for cutters for wood and chipboard.
- Clamping Diameter 12.7 mm — the 1/2 inch shank is clamped into a 12.7 mm collet. A 12 mm collet is not suitable for it, so please check what type of collet your machine has.
- Tapered Transition — the shank gradually narrows to the cutting part. The thick shank transitions smoothly into the narrow working part without a sharp change in diameter.
- Cutter Size — the total length of the tool is 71 mm. The compact cutter is easy to set up and the depth of shank insertion is chosen according to your machine's instructions.
- Suitable Machines — the cutter can be used in a handheld router, in a milling table, in a CNC milling machine, and in an engraving machine, provided they have a collet for 1/2 inch.
- Narrow Grooves — the cutter is suitable for wood and multilayer chipboard where you need a narrower groove than the usual 6 mm. It can be used in furniture production, boxes, frames, and other parts.
- Careful Operation — do not overload the narrow tool with too fast feed. Securely tighten the cutter in the collet, safely clamp the workpiece, and wear protective glasses while working.

How do I return goods?
