The learning tower addresses the situation where a child wants to be involved at the kitchen counter but cannot reach it by themselves. The structure, standing at a height of 92 cm with a footprint of 41 cm, elevates the child to the height of the work surface while surrounding them with side panels for sturdy support. By folding down the top section, the tower converts into a bench with a table, where the child can sit to draw, build, or have a snack. On the back, there is a black board that, when flipped up, stands vertically for drawing. The panda motif with ears on the top edge and cut-out views in the side panels transforms the tool into a piece of children's furniture rather than just a step, allowing the child to name the tower as they wish. The natural shade without coloured varnish fits seamlessly into both the kitchen and children's room, and does not clash with the decor in the living space, where the tool remains throughout the day.

  • Safety handle and side panels – the top bar and solid sides keep the child securely inside the space, preventing any sideways stepping while standing at the counter, and providing something to hold onto.
  • Step and platform – two levels inside allow for independent ascent and descent, enabling the child to get up without being lifted by an adult and gradually getting used to their own movement at height.

In the bench position, the assembly measures 77 cm and the top surface 45 cm, creating a workspace for drawing, modelling, and snacking. The natural surface only needs to be wiped with a damp cloth and left to dry, while the board can be cleaned with a sponge or dry cloth. The tower should be placed on a flat floor next to the counter, not at the edge of a surface or near the stove, and the child should be supervised during play. The combination of three positions extends the duration for which the tool can be used at home, as it quickly transforms from a cooking aid to a play table. Additionally, the tower can be moved between the kitchen, bathroom, and room depending on where the child needs to be.
