The valve phono preamp is designed for connecting a turntable with an MM cartridge to an amplifier or active speakers. It adjusts the signal from the vinyl record according to the RIAA correction curve and amplifies it to line level. The preamp works with standard MM turntable cartridges and complements setups where the turntable or amplifier does not have a phono input. In addition to the phono input, it also offers a 3.5mm AUX input, allowing you to connect a phone, tablet, laptop, CD player, DAC decoder, or television. The pair of 6A2 valves is mounted in socket bases with blue backlighting, and the compact black body measuring 95×116×33 mm fits on a desk or shelf alongside other audio equipment.

Connect the preamp between the turntable and amplifier or active speakers using RCA cables, the ground wire from the turntable should go to the GND terminal. Before the first power-up, leave the switch in the OFF position, insert the valves into the sockets and check that the bottom pins are not deformed; any deformation can be carefully adjusted by hand. Then connect the DC 12 V power supply and select the gain of 39, 42, or 45 dB using the rotary switch according to the sensitivity of the cartridge and the subsequent amplifier. Thanks to the 3.5mm AUX input, it can also serve as a valve preamp for a phone, laptop, or television. Compact dimensions and low weight make it easy to position in a setup with a turntable, and the blue backlighting of the valves enhances the appearance of the audio equipment.

How do I return goods?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the items you are returning.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

Write to us within 30 days of receipt at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the variant you are interested in. We usually reply within 24 hours.
If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
