The long cutting tool with dimensions 8 x 45 mm is a straight grooving cutter for deep grooves, half grooves, and cut-outs in wood. The cutting diameter is 8 mm and the length of the cutting edges is 45 mm, allowing the cutter to handle thick beams and solid boards. It features three carbide (TCT) blades and a shank diameter of 12.7 mm, which is 1/2 inch. It is clamped into a router, CNC milling machine, or engraving machine. The cutter is silver with a light grey transition between the shank and the blades.
- Wide groove 8 mm — the cutter creates a groove 8 mm wide with a flat bottom and vertical walls. It is suitable for strong joints and embedding thicker parts.
- Long cutting edge 45 mm — the blades allow for milling to a depth of up to 45 mm. Always mill such deep grooves gradually in multiple passes, adding depth in small increments.
- Three blades and smooth cutting — during rotation, three blades engage in the cut sequentially, each removing smaller chips. The cut is therefore smoother than with cutters with fewer blades.
- TCT carbide cutting edges — the cutting edges are made of carbide, which is harder than tool steel. This material is commonly used for wood and chipboard cutters.
- 1/2 inch shank clamping — the shank with a diameter of 12.7 mm fits into a collet of the same diameter. A 12 mm collet is not suitable, so please check your machine's equipment before purchasing.
- Tool dimensions — the overall length of the cutter is 100 mm. The thick shank provides the long tool with the necessary rigidity, and the depth of insertion into the collet should be chosen according to the machine's instructions.
- Machines with a 12.7 mm collet — the cutter can be used in a router, milling table, CNC milling machine, and engraving machine. Ensure that the machine has sufficient travel for the long cutter.
- Solid wood and thick boards — the cutter is designed for wood and multilayer chipboard. The long blades are useful for thick beams, boards, and frames, for example, when making furniture, doors, and wooden structures.
- Safe milling — the long cutter is subjected to more stress when overloaded than a short one. Choose an appropriate feed rate, securely clamp the workpiece, and always wear protective goggles while working.

How do I return goods?
