The inflatable SMB dive signal buoy is used to mark the diver's position on the surface and significantly increases their safety. With a length of 1.8 m and a width of 15 cm, it is highly visible even from a distance and stands upright on the surface. The striking orange-red colour with the inscription DIVER BELOW and a double-sided SOLAS reflective strip ensure high visibility in daylight and poor light conditions. The buoy alerts boats and the surrounding area to the presence of a diver below the surface. It is an essential safety item for every diver.
The buoy is equipped with an overpressure valve OPRV with a diameter of 4.5 cm and a UV-resistant TPU flange, which releases excess air and protects it from bursting. It can be inflated in several ways – using a quality PP oral inflation valve, from a buoyancy compensator, or from the second stage of a regulator. A lead weight sealed at the bottom keeps its shape and maintains the buoy in an upright position. A plastic D-ring at the top allows for hanging the buoy or attaching a light for night diving.
The signal buoy, also referred to as SMB, is deployed from depth or the surface and serves as a clear reference point. It helps the accompanying boat track the diver's position during ascent and decompression stops. At the same time, it warns surrounding vessels to keep their distance from the diver. Thanks to easy inflation and rolling, it is always ready for use during every dive.

How do I return goods?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the items you are returning.
- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.
- Send us the proof of dispatch with the tracking number – this lets us refund you without waiting for the parcel to arrive.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
