The grooving tool with dimensions 8 x 26 mm is a straight cutter for milling grooves, half-grooves, and cut-outs in wood. The cutting diameter is 8 mm and the blade length is 26 mm, making it suitable for wider and medium-depth grooves. The three blades are made of carbide (TCT) and the tool is secured with a 1/2 inch shank with a diameter of 12.7 mm. It can be used in a router, CNC machine, or engraving machine. The cutter is silver with a light grey transition between the shank and the blades.
- Grooves 8 mm wide — the cutter creates a groove with a width of 8 mm with a flat bottom and vertical walls. It is suitable for joints and embedding thicker boards and strips.
- Medium blade length 26 mm — the working part allows milling to a depth of up to 26 mm. For deeper grooves, mill gradually in multiple passes to avoid overloading the tool.
- Three TCT blades — three cutting edges alternate in engagement during rotation, with each removing a smaller chip. The cut is therefore smoother than with cutters with fewer blades.
- Hard edge — the blades are made of carbide, which is harder than tool steel. Carbide is commonly used for machining wood and chipboard.
- Shank for collet 12.7 mm — the shank with a diameter of 1/2 inch fits into a 12.7 mm collet. A 12 mm collet is not suitable for it, so please check your machine's equipment before purchasing.
- Tool dimensions — the total length of the cutter is 81 mm. The thick shank provides good rigidity in the collet, and the depth of insertion should be chosen according to the machine's manual.
- Manual and CNC milling — the cutter can be used in a manual router, in a milling table, in a CNC machine, or in an engraving machine if they have a collet for 1/2 inch.
- Furniture joints — the cutter is designed for wood and multi-layer chipboard. It will be useful when making cabinets, shelves, tables, frames, and other furniture parts with grooved joints.
- Recommended procedure — securely tighten the cutter in the collet, safely clamp the workpiece, and choose an appropriate feed rate. Gradually increase the depth and use protective goggles while working.

The grooving tool 8 x 26 mm is suitable for wider straight grooves and cut-outs in wood and multi-layer chipboard. The blade length of 26 mm is sufficient for standard and medium-depth grooves if the depth is increased gradually. The three blades made of carbide remove material smoothly and create a groove with a flat bottom. The 1/2 inch shank is secured in a router, CNC machine, or engraving machine. The cutter will be useful in furniture making and other wooden products in the workshop and at home.

How do I return goods?
