The grooving cutter with dimensions 9 x 20 mm is a straight three-edged cutter designed for milling wider grooves, rebates, and cut-outs in wood. The cutting diameter is 9 mm and the length of the cutting edges is 20 mm, making it suitable for wider grooves of standard depth. The edges are made of carbide (TCT) and the cutter is fitted with a shank of 1/2 inch with a diameter of 12.7 mm. It can be used in a router, CNC machine, or engraving machine. The cutter is silver with a grey transition between the shank and the edges.
- Width 9 mm — the cutter creates a groove 9 mm wide with a flat bottom and vertical walls. It is suitable where an 8 mm groove is too narrow, for example, for thicker boards or strips.
- Working length 20 mm — the edges allow milling to a depth of up to 20 mm. A shorter cutting part means less tool overhang, so the cutter holds securely in the collet.
- Alternating three edges — during rotation, three edges gradually engage in the cut, each removing a smaller chip. The cut is therefore smoother than with cutters with fewer edges.
- Edge material TCT — the cutting edges are made of carbide, which is harder than tool steel. It is commonly used for cutters for wood and chipboard.
- Shank diameter 12.7 mm — the shank with a diameter of 1/2 inch fits into a 12.7 mm collet. A 12 mm collet is not suitable for it, so please check your machine's equipment before purchasing.
- Total length — the cutter measures 77 mm. The thick shank provides good rigidity in the collet, and the depth of insertion should be chosen according to the machine's manual.
- For routers and CNC — the cutter can be used in a handheld router, in a routing table, in a CNC machine, or in an engraving machine if they have a collet for 1/2 inch.
- Grooves for thicker parts — the cutter is intended for wood and multi-layer chipboard. You will use it when making furniture, shelves, frames, and other parts where you need a wider groove.
- Safe working — securely tighten the cutter in the collet, firmly clamp the workpiece, and choose an appropriate feed rate. Mill deeper grooves gradually and always wear protective glasses.

How do I return goods?

- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.
