Large nuts on machine chassis and flanges require two things: sufficient leverage and a mechanism that does not force you to remove the spanner after each pull. This combination spanner has an open end on one side and a ratchet socket with 72 teeth on the other, allowing for the next engagement with just a 5° rotation. The arm measures 327 mm, so with the same force in hand, it exerts a greater torque on the joint than a short spanner. The socket has a width of 52 mm and a thickness of 16 mm, while the open end is 55 mm wide and 11 mm thick, corresponding to the load for size 27 mm. The surface is dark grey and the ratchet ring is gold in colour, making the working part easily distinguishable at first glance.

  • Size 27 mm — a dimension used for flange suspension hubs and hydraulic connections on machines and heavy equipment, where standard sets end.

The spanner is used for repairs of agricultural machinery as well as for assembling steel structures and piping. It is also applicable for trailers and machines where the same nut size is repeated in several places in succession. The direction of the ratchet can be changed by flipping the spanner over, allowing one tool to handle both tightening and loosening. For rusted nuts, it is advisable to first use penetrating oil and loosen them with the open end, then attach the ratchet socket for smooth turning.
