Engraving V-Bits 60° x 0.1 mm have a wide tip angle and a very fine point, allowing them to create pronounced grooves in the shape of a V even at shallow cutting depths. They are suitable for larger letters, logos, and ornaments where the engraving should have a three-dimensional effect. The pack contains 10 pieces of three-flute bits with a pyramid cutting section made of carbide. The bits are clamped with a 3.175 mm shank into the collet of a CNC milling machine or engraving machine. The surface of all bits is silver.

  • Wide angle 60° — the sides of the tip are spread wider than those of slender bits, allowing the groove to expand quickly at depth. This creates a pronounced line even with shallow cuts, which is useful for thinner materials.
  • Fine tip 0.1 mm — the very narrow end of the tip creates a sharp bottom of the V-shaped groove. Therefore, the engraving has a clean profile with distinct edges.
  • Short and sturdy bit — the overall length is 29 mm. The wide angle means a shorter and more robust cutting section that withstands working loads well.
  • Three flutes — the pyramid cutting section with three flutes alternates in engagement during rotation, removing material evenly. Chips exit from all three sides of the tip and do not accumulate in one place.
  • Carbide — a hard material commonly used for CNC engraving tools. It is significantly harder than tool steel.
  • Shank 3.175 mm — the shank diameter corresponds to 1/8 inch. Clamp the bit into a collet for this diameter; a 3 mm collet is not suitable for it.
  • Three-dimensional engravings — the angled walls of the groove create light and shadow effects on the surface. This effect is suitable for decorative inscriptions, ornaments, and decorative signs. The result is even more pronounced when you colour the groove after engraving.
  • Larger motifs — due to the wider angle, the bit is more suitable for larger letters and motifs than for fine text, where narrower tip angles are more appropriate.
  • Contents of the pack — ten identical bits will last you for longer work. You can easily replace a worn bit with a new one with the same parameters, and you usually do not need to change the settings of the engraving programme.
  • Pack contents — 10x engraving V-bit 60° x 0.1 mm.

Engraving V-Bits 60° x 0.1 mm are designed for pronounced engravings where the three-dimensional shape of the groove is important. The wide tip angle and fine point create a clean V-shaped profile even at shallow cutting depths.
