The sixteen is often the size that bridges between small assembly and joints where full arm strength is required. It appears on the mounting of shock absorbers on trailer cross members, on machine frames, as well as on pumps and piping, where screws need to be tightened securely. The 208 mm long arm provides sufficient leverage while still allowing the wrench to be operated with one hand. The closed end features a ratchet, and the fine gearing with 72 teeth engages after five degrees of rotation, so the wrench does not need to be flipped even in tight corners where the arm barely fits. The ring has a width of 35.5 mm with a thickness of 11 mm, while the open fork measures 34 mm and is 8 mm thick. The body is dark grey, the ratchet ring is gold-coloured, and the size 16 is stamped on both sides of the arm.

  • 208 mm Arm — the length corresponds to the torque requirements of the sixteen and reduces the force that the hand must exert without needing to extend the arm with a pipe.
  • 72 Teeth Gearing — engagement every 5° maintains smooth tightening even in areas with limited space for arm movement, such as between the frame and the tank.
  • Closed Ring 35.5 mm — the twelve-point design grips the nut around the circumference and reduces the risk of slipping off the edges of tightly fastened screws that are difficult to loosen.
  • Fork Thickness of 8 mm — the flat open end can be applied from the side to a joint where the ring cannot be slipped on, such as around pipes and rods.
  • Direction Switch — the lever in the ring changes direction, allowing one application to be sufficient for both loosening and subsequent tightening without rotating the wrench in hand.
  • Stamped Number 16 — the marking on both sides of the arm shortens the search among similar sizes laid out on the tool board.

This wrench is useful in a garage for repairing agricultural machinery attachments as well as for assembling structures and hydraulic systems. The dark grey surface with a gold ring is easy to wipe clean of grease, and the wrench can be hung on a panel or stored in a drawer with other sizes. The stamped number on the arm remains legible even after prolonged use.
