Overview
Dioptric Magnifier for Welding Helmet 2 Dioptres Size 11 x 5.5 cm Thickness 3 mm Glass Black Frame For Precision Welding

The dioptric magnifier is inserted into the welding helmet behind the protective filter and enlarges the image of the weld pool and the surrounding joint. The strength of 2 dioptres provides a more pronounced magnification than average values and is suitable for fine welds as well as for welders with noticeably deteriorating near vision. Glass size 11 x 5.5 cm corresponds to the internal holders of magnifiers in standard welding helmets. The glass is set in a black frame with the value printed at the top, so you won't confuse the individual strengths. The magnifier does not replace the protective filter; it merely complements the helmet with magnification.

  • Material of the glass — the magnifier is made of glass, which, unlike plastic, does not scratch easily when wiped.
  • Thickness — the glass has a thickness of 3 mm, ensuring it retains its shape and does not distort the image at the edges.
  • Compatibility — size 11 x 5.5 cm corresponds to holders in standard welding helmets.
  • Reduction of eye strain — magnification makes it easier to focus on the weld and reduces eye fatigue during longer shifts.
  • Working distance — a higher dioptre value shortens the distance at which the image is sharp, so expect to work closer to the piece.
  • Precision of work — a larger image helps maintain a stable distance of the torch and even laying of the bead.
  • Value marking — the strength is printed directly on the frame, so you know which magnifier you have in the helmet.
  • Easy replacement — the magnifier can be removed and replaced with another strength at any time according to the type of work.
  • Contents of the package — 1x dioptric magnifier

The value of 2 dioptres is chosen by welders who work with thin sheets, fine TIG welds, or small parts where it is necessary to see real detail. If you wear reading glasses, choose a magnifier of a similar value to your glasses. The magnifier is inserted behind the protective glass, not in front of it, to prevent damage from flying sparks and metal splatter. Before purchasing, check whether your helmet has an internal holder for the magnifier and what size it accepts. Clean the glass with a soft cloth without solvents to avoid damaging the surface.
