The dioptric magnifier is inserted into the welding helmet behind the protective filter and enlarges the image of the weld pool as well as the surrounding area of the joint. A strength of 1 dioptre is considered a mild value and corresponds to the weakest reading glasses, making it ideal for welders with slightly impaired near vision. Glass size 11 x 5.5 cm fits the internal holders of magnifiers in standard welding helmets. The glass is set in a black frame with the value printed at the top, so you won't confuse the different strengths. The magnifier does not replace the protective filter; it merely complements the helmet with magnification.

Before purchasing, check if your helmet has an internal holder for the magnifier and what size it accepts. Clean the glass with a soft cloth without solvents to avoid damaging the surface.

How do I return goods?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the items you are returning.
- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.
- Send us the proof of dispatch with the tracking number – this lets us refund you without waiting for the parcel to arrive.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
