Overview
Dioptre Magnifying Glass for Welding Helmet 4 Dioptres Size 11 x 5.5 cm Thickness 3 mm Glass Black Frame For Precise Welding

The dioptre magnifying glass is inserted into the welding helmet behind the protective filter and enlarges the image of the weld pool and the surrounding area of the joint. The strength of 4 dioptres is the highest value in the offered range and provides the greatest magnification, which welders will appreciate during the finest work or when vision for close-up tasks is significantly impaired. Glass size 11 x 5.5 cm corresponds to the internal holders of magnifying glasses in standard welding helmets. The glass is set in a black frame with the value printed at the top, so you won't confuse the different strengths. The magnifying glass does not replace the protective filter; it merely enhances the helmet with magnification.

  • Material of the glass — the magnifying glass is made of glass, which unlike plastic does not scratch easily when wiped.
  • Thickness — the glass has a thickness of 3 mm, so it retains its shape and does not distort the image at the edges.
  • Compatibility — the size 11 x 5.5 cm fits the holders in standard welding helmets.
  • Reduction of eye strain — the largest magnification in the range reduces squinting when working with small parts.
  • Working distance — with the strongest magnifying glass, the sharp image is only at a very short distance, so it is necessary to work closely to the part.
  • Precision of work — significantly larger images help in placing small and precise welds.
  • Value marking — the strength is printed directly on the frame, so you know which magnifying glass you have in the helmet.
  • Easy replacement — the magnifying glass can be removed and replaced with another strength according to the type of work at any time.
  • Contents of packaging — 1x dioptre magnifying glass

The value of 4 dioptres is chosen by welders for the finest work, modelling, and repairs of small parts, where standard magnification is insufficient. For welding larger structures, this strength is unsuitable, as the image is sharp only at very short distances. If you are unsure, it is better to start with a weaker magnifying glass and purchase a stronger one based on your experience. The magnifying glass is inserted behind the protective glass, not in front of it, to prevent damage from flying sparks and metal splatter. Clean the glass with a soft cloth without solvents to avoid damaging the surface.
