Overview
Dioptre Magnifying Glass for Welding Helmet 0.75 Dioptres Size 11 x 5.5 cm Thickness 3 mm Glass Black Frame For Precise Welding

The dioptre magnifying glass is inserted into the welding helmet behind the protective filter and enlarges the image of the weld pool and the surrounding joint. The strength of 0.75 dioptres is the mildest in the offered range and is suitable for welders who only need very light magnification of details. Glass size 11 x 5.5 cm corresponds to the internal holders of magnifying glasses in standard welding helmets. The glass is set in a black frame with the value printed at the top, so you won't confuse the different strengths. The magnifying glass does not replace the protective filter, it merely complements the helmet with magnification.

  • Material of glass — the magnifying glass is made of glass, which unlike plastic does not scratch easily when wiped.
  • Thickness — the glass has a thickness of 3 mm, so it retains its shape and does not distort the image at the edges.
  • Compatibility — the size 11 x 5.5 cm fits holders in standard welding helmets.
  • Reduction of eye strain — even slight magnification makes it easier to focus on the weld and reduces eye fatigue during longer shifts.
  • Working distance — the low dioptre value maintains a natural distance from the part, so you do not need to change your posture.
  • Precision of work — a larger image helps maintain a stable distance of the torch and even laying of the weld bead.
  • Value marking — the strength is printed directly on the frame, so you know which magnifying glass you have in the helmet.
  • Easy replacement — the magnifying glass can be removed at any time and replaced with another strength depending on the type of work.
  • Contents of the package — 1x dioptre magnifying glass

The value of 0.75 dioptres is suitable as a first step for welders whose near vision is only slightly deteriorating, or for those who wish to slightly enlarge details. If you already use reading glasses, choose a magnifying glass with a similar value to your glasses. The magnifying glass is inserted behind the protective glass, not in front of it, to prevent it from being damaged by flying sparks and metal splatter. Before purchasing, check if your helmet has an internal holder for the magnifying glass and what size it accepts. Clean the glass with a soft cloth without solvents to avoid damaging the surface.
