The compact grooving cutter with dimensions 8 x 20 mm is a straight cutter for milling wider grooves, half-grooves, and cutouts in wood. The cutting diameter is 8 mm and the blade length is 20 mm, making it suitable for shallow and medium-depth grooves. The three blades are made of tungsten carbide (TCT) and the cutter is fitted with a 1/2 inch shank with a diameter of 12.7 mm. It can be used in a router, CNC machine, or engraving machine. The cutter is silver with a grey transition between the shank and the blades.
- Groove width of 8 mm — the cutter creates a groove 8 mm wide with a flat bottom and vertical walls. It is suitable for joints and recessing thicker boards and strips.
- Shorter blades of 20 mm — the working part allows milling to a depth of up to 20 mm. The shorter cutting length means less tool overhang, providing stability in the collet.
- Three engaging blades — during rotation, the three blades gradually engage in the cut, each removing a smaller chip. The cut is therefore smoother than with cutters that have fewer blades.
- Tungsten carbide in the cutting part — the blades are made of tungsten carbide, abbreviated as TCT. It is harder than tool steel and is commonly used for wood and board cutters.
- Fitting 12.7 mm — the 1/2 inch diameter shank fits into a 12.7 mm collet. A 12 mm collet is not suitable, so please check your machine's equipment before purchasing.
- Total length — the cutter measures 75 mm. The thick shank provides good rigidity in the collet, and the depth of insertion should be chosen according to the machine's manual.
- Machines and clamping — the cutter can be used in a handheld router, router table, CNC machine, or engraving machine, provided they have a collet for 1/2 inch.
- Wider shallow grooves — the cutter is designed for wood and multilayer chipboard. It is suitable for wider grooves in commonly thick boards when making furniture, shelves, drawers, and frames.
- Safety recommendations — securely tighten the cutter in the collet, securely clamp the workpiece, and use appropriate feed rates. Mill deeper grooves gradually and wear safety glasses.

How do I return goods?

- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.
