CNC V-Bits 90° x 0.1 mm Pack of 10 Carbide Engraving Bits Shank 3.175 mm Length 29 mm Silver Grooves and Chamfers

CNC V-bits with a tip of 90° x 0.1 mm combine a wide right angle tip with a very fine point. They create wide and shallow V-shaped grooves, suitable for large letters, pronounced outlines, and edge chamfers. The pack contains 10 pieces of three-flute pyramid bits made from solid carbide. The bits are clamped with a 3.175 mm shank into the collet of a CNC milling machine or engraving machine. All pieces are silver and have identical dimensions.

  • Right angle 90° — the sides of the tip form a right angle, with each slanted at 45°. Therefore, the groove is approximately twice as wide as the cutting depth, and you achieve a pronounced line even with very shallow immersion.
  • Fine tip 0.1 mm — the tip ends in a very narrow flat area, making the bottom of the groove nearly sharp. The line has a clean profile and distinct edges.
  • Short tool — the overall length of the bit is 29 mm. The wide angle means a short and robust cutting part that remains stable and bends less during use.
  • Three-flute pyramid head — the cutting part shaped like a triangular pyramid has three flutes. They alternate in engagement during rotation, smoothly removing material.
  • Carbide construction — the bits are made from solid carbide, a hard material commonly used to manufacture engraving tools for CNC. It is harder than tool steel.
  • Clamping in a 3.175 mm collet — the shank corresponds to a diameter of 1/8 inch. Use a collet for this diameter; a 3 mm collet is not suitable for this bit.
  • Wide and shallow grooves — at a cutting depth of 0.5 mm, a groove approximately 1.1 mm wide is created. The wide angle is therefore suitable where you need a pronounced line and do not wish to go to a great depth.
  • Edge chamfers — the sides slanted at 45° allow you to create a chamfer on the edge of the workpiece at a 45° angle. Thus, the bit can also be used for finishing edges on signs, labels, and other products.
  • Large lettering and outlines — the 90° angle is suitable for large letters, pronounced outlines, and decorative motifs. For small text and fine details, narrower tip angles are more appropriate.
  • Contents of the package — 10x engraving V-bit 90° x 0.1 mm.

CNC V-bits 90° x 0.1 mm are suitable for wide lines, large lettering, and edge chamfers at a 45° angle. The fine tip creates a clean profile of the groove, and the wide angle provides a pronounced line even at a shallow cutting depth. The three-flute bits made from solid carbide have a length of 29 mm and a shank of 3.175 mm for CNC milling machines and engraving machines. Ten identical pieces in the pack ensure you have replacements for wear, allowing you to continue with the same tool. They are useful for producing signs, labels, and decorative inscriptions.
