The CNC grooving cutter measuring 6 x 28 mm is designed for milling straight grooves, rebates, and cutouts in wood. The cutting diameter is 6 mm and the cutting length is 28 mm, allowing it to handle deeper grooves. The cutter features three carbide (TCT) flutes and a shank diameter of 12.7 mm, which corresponds to 1/2 inch. It is clamped into a router, CNC milling machine, or engraving machine. The shank is silver, the cutter has a white extension on the flutes, and a black ring on the shank.
- Groove 6 mm — the cutter creates a groove 6 mm wide with a flat bottom and vertical walls. This width is suitable for recessing the backs of cabinets or drawers made from thin boards.
- Cutting Depth 28 mm — the long flutes allow for milling to a depth of up to 28 mm. Deeper grooves should be milled gradually in multiple passes to avoid overloading the tool.
- Three Flutes — the three cutting edges alternate during rotation. Each removes a smaller chip, resulting in a smoother cut than with cutters that have one or two flutes.
- TCT Cutting Edges — the cutting edges are made from carbide, which is harder than tool steel. Carbide cutting edges are commonly used for machining wood and chipboard.
- Shank for Collet 12.7 mm — the shank with a diameter of 1/2 inch requires a 12.7 mm collet. Do not clamp it into a 12 mm collet, as it will not hold securely.
- Total Length — the cutter measures 77 mm. The robust 12.7 mm shank provides good rigidity even with a longer cutting part, and the cutter holds firmly in the collet.
- Machine Types — the cutter can be used in a handheld router, router table, CNC milling machine, and engraving machine, provided they have a 1/2 inch collet.
- Wood and Boards — the cutter is intended for wood and multilayer chipboard. It is suitable for furniture production, cabinets, shelves, and other components where precise grooves are needed.

How do I return goods?
