CNC engraving cutters with parameters 45° x 0.2 mm are three-flute V-cutters made of cemented carbide, with which you can create clear and legible engravings. The 45° angle is wider than that of the thinnest cutters, making the groove more pronounced and the tip sturdier. The tip of 0.2 mm also retains sufficient fineness for inscriptions and details. The cutters are clamped with a 3.175 mm shank into the collet of a CNC milling machine or engraving machine. The package contains ten pieces with a silver metallic finish.

  • Tip angle 45° — a wider angle creates a groove that expands more quickly with depth than sharper cutters. The resulting engraving is therefore more pronounced and more visible at first glance.
  • Tip 0.2 mm — a surface width of two tenths of a millimetre at the tip leaves a clear line. It is suitable for medium-sized letters, numbers, and outlines that need to be easily readable.
  • Robust tip — the combination of a wider angle and a broader tip gives the cutter a sturdier tip. This tip better withstands normal loads during engraving and is less prone to breaking.
  • Compact length — the total length of the cutter is 30 mm, which corresponds to engraving with a shallow cutting depth, where work is mainly done with the tip.
  • Three flutes — the cutting part has three flutes arranged in a pyramid shape, which alternate during rotation and gradually and evenly remove material.
  • Carbide construction — cemented carbide is a hard material commonly used to make tools for CNC engraving. It is significantly harder than tool steel, from which traditional knives are made.
  • Clamping in collet — the shank with a diameter of 1/8 inch is designed for collets of the same diameter. A 3 mm collet is not suitable for this shank. Therefore, please verify the collet diameter before ordering.
  • Applications — engraving of company nameplates, door signs, labels, logos on promotional items, and decorative patterns where the line needs to be clearly visible. It is also useful for making name tags and personalised gifts.
  • Angle choice — if you need a pronounced yet still fine line, the 45° angle is a good choice. For very small text, a smaller angle is more suitable.
