CNC engraving cutters 20° x 0.1 mm have a very slim tip, allowing you to engrave even the finest details. The 20° point angle is very sharp, enabling the cutter to create a narrow groove even at greater cutting depths. The cutters are made from sintered carbide and feature three flutes arranged in a pyramid shape. They are clamped with a 3.175 mm shank into the collet of a CNC milling machine or engraving machine. The packaging contains ten identical pieces with a silver metallic finish.

  • Sharp angle 20° — the slim tip penetrates the material with minimal groove width. It is suitable for small letters, fine shading, thin outlines, and detailed drawings. Lines remain narrow even for small motifs.
  • Tip 0.1 mm — the area at the tip end is only one-tenth of a millimetre wide. This allows the cutter to leave a very thin trace and capture even small elements of the motif.
  • Total length — the cutter measures 33 mm. The long and slim cutting part corresponds to the sharp point angle. The longer cutting part allows for engraving to greater depths if the motif requires it.
  • Three flutes — the pyramid-shaped cutting part with three flutes alternates in cutting while rotating, removing material evenly around the tip circumference.
  • Carbide material — sintered carbide is a hard material typical for CNC tools. It is suitable for cutters where tip sharpness is essential.
  • Shank 3.175 mm — the shank diameter corresponds to 1/8 inch. Ensure that your machine's collet is designed for this diameter and not for 3 mm.
  • For detailed work — the cutter is suitable for name tags, engraved labels, small inscriptions, and fine ornaments where a wider angle is insufficient. It is also useful for producing small decorations, stamps, promotional items, and personalised gifts.
  • Careful setting — the slim tip of 0.1 mm is more sensitive to lateral loading. Work with lower feed rates and shallower passes, especially with harder materials.
  • Contents of the package — ten cutters in one package allow you to continue working even when one tip becomes dull or breaks. The cutters are identical, so after replacement, you can usually continue with the same programme settings.
