Carbide V-bits 20° x 0.3 mm for CNC combine a very slim tip angle with the widest tip. The result is a bit that creates narrow grooves with a more pronounced bottom while maintaining a sturdy tip finish. The pack includes 10 pcs of triple flute bits with a pyramid cutting section made of sintered carbide. The bits are clamped with a 3.175 mm shank into the collet of a CNC milling machine or engraving machine. The surface of all bits in the pack is silver and metallic shiny.

  • Narrow angle 20° — steep sides of the tip ensure that the groove widens only gradually in depth. Therefore, the engraving remains narrow even at deeper cuts. The sharp angle is suitable for designs where lines are close together.
  • Wide tip 0.3 mm — the area at the tip end provides the groove with a distinct bottom. The line is well visible, even when the design is small. Compared to the 0.1 mm tip, it creates a bolder line at the same cutting depth.
  • Sturdy finish — the wider tip contains more material, making it more resistant to breaking than finer variants with the same angle. Therefore, it is also suitable for longer engraving tasks and repeated production.
  • Length 31 mm — the total length of the bit is 31 mm. The slim cutting part corresponds to the sharp angle of 20° and most of the length is made up of the shank.
  • Triple flute geometry — three flutes form a pyramid tip and alternate evenly in cutting while rotating. Material thus exits smoothly from all three sides of the tip.
  • Sintered carbide — a hard material from which engraving bits for CNC are commonly made. It is suitable for tools that must have a sharp and precise tip.
  • Shank 3.175 mm — the shank with a diameter of 1/8 inch is designed for collets of the same diameter. A 3 mm collet is not suitable for this bit, so please check the diameter before purchasing.
  • Typical use — narrow and distinct inscriptions, numbers, outlines, labels for technical parts, tags and nameplates where the line should be narrow yet clearly readable.
  • When to choose this variant — if you need a slim groove like that of a 20° angle, but with a more pronounced line and a sturdier tip, the 0.3 mm tip is a suitable choice.
