Overview
Bricklayer's Corner Trowel for Internal Corners with Bent Blade of 8.3 cm Side and Long Blue Handle for Filling, Plastering and Smoothing Corners

Creating corners between two walls or between a wall and a ceiling with a straight trowel is challenging, as it is difficult to maintain an even layer on both surfaces. This corner trowel features a blade bent into an internal angle, allowing it to be placed directly into the corner and align both sides in one stroke. The longer side of the blade measures 8.3 cm, which covers the joint itself and the adjoining strip of material on both walls. The blade is made of stainless steel and its edges are rounded to prevent snagging into the soft layer during the stroke. The handle is blue and is attached to the centre of the blade with two screws and nuts, and it has a hole at the end for hanging on a nail or hook.

  • Bent blade for corners — follows both adjoining surfaces simultaneously, resulting in a straight joint without waves and without repeated passes.
  • Blade side of 8.3 cm — reaches the joint and the surrounding strip of layer, where it is necessary to feather the transition to make it invisible after drying.
  • Stainless steel — resists moisture from plaster fillers and adhesives, ensuring that the blade remains undamaged and smooth after rinsing.
  • Rounded edges — sharp grooves do not form on the edges that would need to be sanded down after drying, saving work during final sanding.
  • Long blue handle — comfortably held with the whole palm and allows work in corners near the ceiling without unnecessary stretching.
  • Screw connection of the handle — two screws with nuts securely hold the blade in place and the connection does not loosen under pressure.
  • Universal use — suitable for drywall corners for plastering on acrylic joints as well as for feathering transitions at skirting boards and ceilings.

Contents of the package:

  • 1x corner bricklayer's trowel

The material is first applied to both sides of the corner, and only then is the trowel placed and drawn smoothly from top to bottom. Excess filler is drawn off the blade, leaving an even layer in the corner without unnecessary build-up. The shape bent into an internal angle maintains a consistent profile along the entire length of the corner, ensuring that the result does not depend on the steadiness of the hand. The trowel is useful for filling drywall as well as for repairing cracks in old plasters, where corners often separate. It is also applicable for coarser feathering of the first layer, where the material is only being spread into the entire corner. After use, simply rinse the blade before the filler dries, and the blue handle with a hole at the end allows the tool to be hung up to dry.
