Overview
Bamboo Roller Blind 70 x 200 cm Sunshade for Windows on Balconies and Terraces Strips Linked Across the Width Cord Rolling Brown Shade of Bamboo

The sunshade measuring 70 x 200 cm can handle large windows, glazed doors, and high areas on balconies, loggias, or under pergolas. Thin bamboo strips are linked with sturdy cords across the width, ensuring the surface remains flat and rolls up without twisting. Direct sunlight is diffused by the strips, allowing only subdued light to enter, preserving the natural daylight in the space behind the window. The gaps between the strips also allow for ventilation, preventing hot air from being trapped behind the blind even during the hottest hours of the day. The cord rolling allows the blind to be raised to the top edge or lowered and positioned exactly where needed. The brown shade of bamboo with the pattern of the stems adds a natural look to the window and outdoor seating area.

  • Dimension 70 x 200 cm — the two-metre height covers glazing up to the floor, and the width conceals the window frame as well.
  • Strips Linked Across the Width — the connection with cords maintains regular spacing, and the surface folds neatly into a roll when raised.
  • Cord Rolling — the position of the blind is adjusted by pulling the cord, allowing the entire glazing to be shaded or just the upper part.
  • Air Passage — the gaps between the strips ventilate, allowing the blind to shade without completely closing off the entire glazed area.
  • Soft Light — bamboo diffuses direct rays, leaving the room illuminated without glare and harsh contrasts.
  • Brown Shade of Bamboo — the pattern of the stems and warm colour complement wood, stone, wicker, and greenery around the window and terrace.

Contents of the Package:

  • 1x bamboo roller blind 70 x 200 cm

This format is suitable for glazed walls, terrace doors, and attics where the sun shines in for a large part of the day. When operating, the cord pulls smoothly and evenly, ensuring the strips roll up regularly and the bottom edge of the blind remains level. Bamboo does not thrive in rain or constant moisture, so the blind should be rolled up and stored in a dry, sheltered space during winter. The surface is maintained dry, using a soft brush or cloth along the strips, without water or detergents. The shade of the stems varies from piece to piece in natural bamboo and develops over time due to sunlight, which is part of the material's character and not a defect. The rolled-up blind takes up little space in storage and is easy to transport between floors of the house.
