The blind measuring 90 x 140 cm shades a wide window including the frame and the lower edge covers part of the area beneath the sill. The strip consists of thin bamboo slats, which are tied together with sturdy cords across the entire width, maintaining a regular spacing. Direct sunlight is diffused by the slats, allowing only filtered light to enter while still maintaining a natural daytime brightness in the room. Air flows through the gaps between the slats, preventing heat from accumulating behind the blind, allowing the window beneath to remain slightly open. The cord pull raises the strip to the upper edge and lowers it back down, stopping at any desired height. The brown colour of the reeds with natural grain adds a warm appearance to the window and covered seating area.

Maintenance is done dry, using a soft brush or cloth along the slats, without soaking or using detergents.
