Bamboo Blind 90 x 110 cm Natural Window Shade for Balcony and Terrace Solid Strip of Joined Slats Cord Control Warm Brown Bamboo
You already have the maximum available quantity in your cart.
The shade measuring 90 x 110 cm covers a wide window including the frame, with the bottom edge extending slightly below the sill. The solid strip is created by joining thin bamboo slats, which are held together by cords spaced evenly across the entire width. Light passes only through the narrow gaps between the slats, diffusing harsh rays and allowing a soft glow to enter without glare. Air also flows through these gaps, preventing heat from accumulating at the window and allowing for ventilation even when the shade is down. The cord control allows the strip to be raised to the top edge or lowered and stopped at a position that suits the current sun angle. The warm brown bamboo with its reed pattern enhances the appearance of the window and outdoor seating.
- Size 90 x 110 cm — the area covers a wide window sash and frame, with the bottom edge extending slightly below the sill, preventing light from penetrating from below.
- Solid strip of joined slats — bamboo slats linked by cords create a flat surface that rolls into a regular scroll when raised.
- Cord control — the shade is raised and lowered by pulling and remains at the height required by the sun's position above the horizon.
- Breathable gaps — air continues to flow between the slats, so the blind provides shade while still allowing for ongoing ventilation at the window.
- Diffused glow — direct rays are refracted by the bamboo, leaving light in the room without glare or harsh shadows.
- Warm brown bamboo — the natural shade with a reed pattern complements wooden surfaces, wicker, textiles, and greenery outside the window.
Contents of the package:
- 1x bamboo blind 90 x 110 cm
The shade is suitable for kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms, and covered balconies, where it should cover the window and end just below the sill. The cord is pulled smoothly and straight to ensure the slats roll evenly and the bottom edge of the strip remains horizontal. Bamboo does not thrive in rain or constant moisture, so the blind should be rolled up and stored in a dry, sheltered space for the winter. Maintenance is done dry, using a soft brush or cloth along the slats and cords, without soaking or chemicals. The shade of bamboo may vary slightly with each piece and will gradually develop due to sunlight, which is characteristic of this material and not a defect. When rolled up, the shade takes up little space and can be easily stored in a cupboard or on a shelf out of season.
