The screen measuring 80 x 180 cm shades wide glazing from the top edge down and serves at the window, door, or on a covered balcony. The area consists of thin bamboo slats joined by strong strings, which keep them level and at regular intervals across the entire width. Direct rays are diffused between the slats, allowing soft light to enter while sharp shadows do not form in the space. Air also passes through the gaps, preventing heat from accumulating behind the screen and allowing the window beneath to be opened easily. Rolling up with a cord allows the panel to be pulled up into a roll at the top edge or lowered back down over the entire area. The warm brown bamboo with its reed-like pattern gives a natural character to the window and outdoor seating area.

The cord is pulled smoothly and evenly so that the slats wind up regularly and the bottom edge of the panel remains horizontal. Bamboo is intended for dry conditions; permanent moisture and standing in rain are not beneficial, therefore the blind should be rolled up and stored under cover during winter. Maintenance requires no water; a soft brush or dry cloth run along the slats and strings is sufficient. The shade of bamboo may slightly vary with each piece and is gradually enhanced by sunlight, which is characteristic of this material and not a defect. The rolled-up screen takes up little space and can be easily stored in a pantry or cellar out of season.

How do I return goods?
