The blind measuring 80 x 100 cm covers a wide window frame and ends with its lower edge approximately at the windowsill. The surface is made from thin bamboo slats tied with sturdy cords, which keep them at the same distance and prevent the strip from wrinkling. Light is divided into thin strips between the slats, allowing a soft brightness to enter the room while diffusing the harsh midday sun. Air flows freely through the same gaps, ensuring that heat does not accumulate behind the blind and a pleasant environment remains by the window. Control is provided by a cord on the side, allowing the strip to be raised to the top edge or lowered back across the entire window area. The natural brown shade of the stems gives the window and balcony the appearance of a natural material.

  • Dimension 80 x 100 cm — the area covers the window including the frame, with the height ending at the windowsill and not encroaching into the space beneath the window ledge.

The blind is suitable for kitchen windows, dining rooms, studies, or covered balconies, where the shading should end above the windowsill. The cord is pulled smoothly and evenly during operation to ensure the slats roll up regularly and the lower edge of the strip remains horizontal. Bamboo is intended for dry conditions; prolonged moisture and exposure to rain are not beneficial, so the blind should be rolled up and stored under cover for winter. Cleaning is done dry, using a soft brush or cloth along the slats, without water and without detergents. The shade of individual stems naturally varies and develops over time due to sun exposure, which is characteristic of bamboo and is not a defect. A rolled-up blind takes up little space and can be stored away in a cupboard, pantry, or on a shelf during the off-season.
