Bamboo Blind 40 x 170 cm Screening for High Windows of Balconies and Terraces Long Strip of Linked Slats Cord Winding Brown Natural Appearance
You already have the maximum available quantity in your cart.
The blind measuring 40 x 170 cm offers a truly long strip and can cover high windows, glazed doors, and open areas on balconies or terraces. Thin bamboo slats are held together by cords threaded across the entire width, ensuring that the long strip does not twist or ripple even when fully extended. Light filters through the gaps in thin stripes, and hot air does not accumulate beneath the blind, as it can freely flow in and out. The cord on the side is used for winding and unwinding the strip and allows the blind to be stopped precisely at the position that suits you. The brown natural appearance of the bamboo looks natural both outdoors and indoors, complementing wooden elements without additional decoration. The blind thus shades the glazing while also serving as a natural addition to window walls, railings, or covered seating areas.
- Length 170 cm — the long strip reaches from the top edge down to the floor, covering even higher balcony doors or narrow glazing reaching the ground.
- Width 40 cm — the slim format fits between the posts of a pergola, to one wing of a window, or in places where there is no space for a wide blind.
- Linked Slats — bamboo slats connected by cords create a solid surface that rolls up into a regular cylinder at the top edge when winding.
- Cord Winding — the strip can be pulled up only halfway and leave the lower part of the window free for a view out into the garden or street.
- Air Permeability — the gaps between the slats dissipate heat, so there is no stuffiness behind the blind even during the hottest hours of the day.
- Brown Natural Appearance — the pattern of the stalks and the warm hue of the bamboo complement wooden terraces, rattan furniture, and greenery in planters.
Contents of the Package:
- 1x bamboo blind 40 x 170 cm
For such a long strip, it is advisable to pull the cord smoothly when operating it, so that the slats wind up parallel and the lower edge remains horizontal. The blind withstands normal outdoor conditions under a roof overhang, but prolonged exposure to rain and soaking is not beneficial for the bamboo. Out of season, the strip can be rolled up and stored in a dry room, where it will not deform, become damp, or collect dust. The surface is maintained dry, that is, by dusting with a soft brush or wiping with a dry cloth along the slats. The colour shade of natural bamboo varies slightly from piece to piece and gradually develops due to sunlight, which is part of the character of the material. The rolled strip takes up minimal space in storage and is easily transported between floors.
