Bamboo Blind 40 x 150 cm Window Shading for Balcony and Terrace High Format Cord Control Natural Decoration in Brown Tone
You already have the maximum available quantity in your cart.
The dimension of 40 x 150 cm belongs to the high formats that cover the glass from the top edge almost to the floor or window sill. The blind consists of bamboo slats connected by cords, ensuring that the entire strip remains firm and straight even at this greater length. A little daylight penetrates through the gaps between the slats, and air flows freely, so it does not become stuffy behind the blind, allowing the space to maintain a daily rhythm. The control is managed by a cord running along the side, allowing the area to be lifted to the ceiling with a pull and released back to full height by loosening. The brown tone of the bamboo varies from piece to piece, giving the window, balcony, or terrace a natural character without additional decoration. The blind thus functions as a sunshade as well as a striking natural element of the entire glazed wall.
- Height 150 cm — the long area covers French windows, balcony doors, and higher sections of railings, so there is no need to combine two shorter blinds.
- Width 40 cm — the slim strip can serve independently at a narrow window, or it can be arranged side by side to cover a significantly wider opening in parts.
- Bamboo slats — natural slats connected by sturdy cords form a flexible whole that rolls up into a cylinder and does not break during normal operation.
- Cord control — the height of shading can be stopped at any position depending on how much light is to enter the room at that moment.
- Airy shading — gaps between the slats allow air to pass through, which is particularly useful on the south side of the house during hot days.
- Brown natural tone — the colour of the bamboo complements wooden facades, terrace boards, wicker accessories, and planters full of greenery.
Contents of the package:
- 1x bamboo blind 40 x 150 cm
The high blind is suitable wherever there is a need to shade glazing over the entire height while not completely darkening the room like a curtain. The cord is held at the edge during operation to ensure the slats wind evenly and the bottom part of the blind does not twist at an angle to one side. Bamboo does not thrive in constant soaking or standing in rain, so during winter, the blind should be rolled up and stored in a dry place. Maintenance involves occasionally brushing with a soft brush or a dry cloth along the slats; wet cleaning is not recommended. The natural shade slightly changes over time due to sunlight, which is a normal aging process for bamboo and is not a defect. The rolled-up blind takes up little space, making it easy to store in a cupboard, on a shelf, or in a garage during the off-season.
