The twenty-one millimetre size is typical for wheel nuts on trailers and vans, but it is also found on axle bolts on calipers and on pump flanges. Connections of this type are usually tightened with high torque, so a sufficiently long arm and the finest possible gearing in the socket are advantageous. The wrench offers both: a ratchet with 72 teeth, which engages after five degrees of rotation, and a 250 mm long arm, which provides leverage without improvised adjustments with a pipe. The closed end holds the nut all around, while the open fork on the other side addresses connections that are only accessible from the side, such as nuts on pipes and bolts recessed beneath other parts. The arm has a flat profile with a slight curve at the head, allowing it to be guided closely along the disc or frame. The socket has a width of 43.5 mm with a thickness of 14 mm, the open end measures 44.5 mm and is 9.5 mm thick. The finish is dark grey, the ratchet ring is gold-coloured, and the number 21 is embossed on both sides of the arm, making it identifiable from below.
