Overview
Nyctanthes arbor-tristis Seeds 20 pcs Fragrant Night Jasmine Tree with White Flowers and Orange Centre For Greenhouse and Conservatory

Nyctanthes arbor-tristis, known as night jasmine, is a fragrant exotic tree renowned for its exceptional flowers. The small white star-shaped flowers with a striking orange centre open at night and release an intense fragrance that can be detected from afar. The species name arbor-tristis means sad tree, as the flowers drop in the morning. The pack contains 20 seeds, providing ample material for growing multiple plants or for repeated sowing. In our conditions, night jasmine is primarily grown in a greenhouse, conservatory, or larger container.

Key Features:

  • White Flowers with Orange Centre — the small star-shaped flowers with a prominent orange tube are the tree's main adornments and are unmistakable at first glance.
  • Night Fragrance — the flowers open at night and spread an intense fragrance, which is how the species earned its name night jasmine.
  • Sad Tree — the flowers drop in the morning, which is why the species is called arbor-tristis, or sad tree, creating a carpet of fallen flowers beneath it.
  • Exotic Tree — this species significantly differs from commonly cultivated trees, making it suitable for collectors and fragrance plant enthusiasts who enjoy trying new varieties.
  • Container Growing — young plants can be grown in pots and placed in a greenhouse, conservatory, or bright interior according to your options and space.
  • Pack of 20 Seeds — a larger number of seeds increases the chance of successfully growing several plants and allows for repeated sowing at different times.
  • Growing from Seeds — you can observe the entire development of the tree from germination to young tree and obtain specimens grown with your own care, which will be appreciated especially by patient growers.
  • For Fragrance Lovers — the fragrant tree will delight anyone who enjoys adding a plant with a distinctive aroma to their greenhouse or conservatory.
