This set contains 30 seeds of the ornamental flowering shrub Kolkwitzia amabilis, known as beautiful Kolkwitzia. It is a richly flowering shrub with drooping branches that are covered in a large number of small light pink bell-shaped flowers during the flowering period. The shrub is complemented by fresh green leaves and appears very striking and decorative when in bloom. Kolkwitzia is popular among lovers of flowering shrubs for gardens and large pots. Growing from seeds is a rewarding activity that allows you to observe the entire development of the plant from the first sprout to the flowering shrub.
Beautiful Kolkwitzia is a hardy ornamental shrub that thrives in sunny or partially shaded locations with well-drained soil. The plant can be grown as a solitary specimen in the garden, in free-growing plantings, or in a large pot on the terrace. Young plants initially produce small leaves, from which a leafy and branching shrub with characteristically drooping branches gradually develops. The shrub thrives best in sunny locations and produces the richest flower set during the flowering period. Regular moisture in the soil without waterlogging facilitates cultivation.
