This white drying box is designed for drying and safely storing filaments used in 3D printing. Filaments easily absorb moisture, leading to breakage, poor layer adhesion, and low-quality print surfaces. The closed chamber with controlled heating and a long timer helps remove moisture from the material and keeps the filament in optimal condition for printing. On the front, there is a two-inch LCD display that shows the set temperature, remaining time, and current operating mode, so you have the entire drying process under control.
The drying temperature is adjustable between 35–55 °C, allowing easy adaptation of conditions for different types of filaments. The timer allows drying to be set from 0 to 24 hours depending on the moisture level of the material and personal preferences. Inside the device, there are two temperature sensors – one monitors the air temperature in the box and the other monitors the temperature of the heating element. This ensures accurate measurement, safe heating, and prevents overheating. The internal design ensures even heat surrounding the spool, known as "envelope baking," which leads to more uniform drying and better heat retention. Included is a power cable with a plug for European sockets.
The drying box is compatible with filaments with diameters of 1.75 mm, 2.85 mm, and 3.0 mm and has high compatibility with common types of materials such as PLA, PETG, TPU, or ABS. Inside, it can accommodate a spool with a maximum width of approximately 8 cm and a maximum height of around 21 cm, with the manufacturer also stating a maximum spool size of 210 x 85 mm.
