V-Engraving cutters for CNC milling machines with parameters 60° x 0.3 mm combine a wide tip angle with a broader tip that creates a groove with a flat bottom. They are suitable for thicker lines, larger letters, and decorative motifs where a sharply defined bottom is not required. The pack contains 10 pieces of triple-flute pyramid cutters made of solid carbide. The cutters have a shank of 3.175 mm and fit into the collet of a CNC milling machine or engraving machine. All pieces are silver and have the same dimensions.

  • Open Tip 60° — the sides of the cutting part form an angle of 60°, allowing the groove to widen quickly with cutting depth. You can achieve a pronounced line even without deep tool immersion.
  • Wide Tip 0.3 mm — the tip is not completely sharp but has a flat area of 0.3 mm width. The bottom of the groove is therefore flat, and the tip is more durable than finer tips.
  • Shank Diameter — the shank has a diameter of 3.175 mm, which is 1/8 inch. Clamp the cutter into a collet for the same diameter; a 3 mm collet is not suitable for it.
  • Three Cutting Edges — the pyramid cutting part has three edges that gradually engage in the cut while rotating. Material is removed smoothly, and chips can exit the groove from three sides.
  • Hard Carbide — the cutters are made of solid carbide, a material that is harder than tool steel and is commonly used for engraving tools.
  • Compact Length — the overall length of the cutter is 30 mm. The short tool with a robust cutting part remains stable during engraving and bends less.
  • Flat Bottom Groove — thanks to the 0.3 mm tip, each line has a distinct flat area at the bottom. Such a groove is well suited for colouring or filling with paint, as it can hold more paint than a groove with a sharp bottom.
  • Thicker Lines — the cutter is suitable for larger inscriptions, outlines of motifs, decorative signs, and name tags. For small text and fine details, narrower angles and smaller tips are more appropriate.
  • Replacement Pieces — ten identical cutters in the pack allow you to replace a worn tool with a new one with the same parameters. This way, you always have a supply on hand for extended work.
