Sweet Pea Lathyrus Odoratus Cupid Mixed Seeds 20 pcs Low Compact Flowering Plant For Containers Rockeries And Gardens Growing From Seeds

This set contains 20 seeds of the popular flowering annual Lathyrus odoratus Cupid Mixed, commonly known as sweet pea. The Cupid variety is a low and compact type with a sprawling to spreading growth habit, producing a large number of small butterfly-like flowers in a vibrant colour mix. The plant is complemented by fresh green leaves and delicate tendrils for support. Due to its low growth, sweet pea Cupid is ideal for containers, rockeries, border edges, and hanging baskets. Growing from seeds is a rewarding activity where you can observe the entire development of the plant from the first sprout to a flowering clump.

Sweet pea is an annual flowering plant that thrives in sunny locations with nutrient-rich, adequately moist soil. It is sown in spring, and the low Cupid variety does not require high support, making it suitable for containers. Young plants initially produce the first leaves, from which leafy stems with tendrils gradually grow. In a sunny position, the plant thrives best and produces the richest flower set during the summer months. Regular watering and deadheading prolong the flowering period.
