Probe sondes for automotive multimeters are diagnostic tools for measuring voltage and continuity directly on wires in vehicles. The wire is caught in the hook at the end of the probe, and the thin needle penetrates the insulation to the core of the cable, so you do not need to strip the wire or disconnect it. The sondes fit onto the banana plugs of multimeter test leads, extending its measuring tips. They are designed for voltages up to 30 V, which corresponds to low-voltage circuits, such as a car's electrical system. The set includes two sondes in red and black for easy polarity differentiation.

  • Probe Hook with Needle — The wire is inserted into the hook at the end of the probe, and the fine metal needle punctures the insulation to the core. After removal, only a small hole remains in the insulation, and the wire does not need to be re-insulated.
  • Voltage 30 V — Each probe is marked with the value 30 V on its body. Therefore, the sondes are suitable for measurements in low-voltage circuits, such as the electrical installation of a car or motorcycle.
  • Connection to 4 mm Banana Plugs — The lower part of the probe consists of a socket with a diameter of 4 mm, into which you can insert both covered and uncovered banana plugs of the test lead. The wire cannot be directly soldered or screwed to the probe.
  • Red and Black Colour — The set includes one red and one black probe. This easily distinguishes the positive and negative terminals when connecting to the multimeter test leads.
  • Insulated Body — The white plastic cover protects the needle along its entire length and safeguards fingers when working with the wire. The ribbed grip is comfortable to hold, and the probe does not slip in your hand.
