Overview
Passiflora auriculata Seeds 5 pcs Climbing Vine with Dark Purple Fruits and Broad Leaves For Greenhouse and Conservatory

Passiflora auriculata is an exotic climbing passionflower, identifiable by its small round fruits and broad green leaves. The image clearly shows the dark purple to wine-coloured round fruits that ripen along the climbing shoots. The plant climbs using tendrils and creates long vines with entire leaves, quickly forming a green backdrop. The fruits are small and are not typically consumed, so the plant is primarily grown as an ornamental climber. The pack contains 5 seeds, from which you can grow your own plant. It is cultivated in a pot with support, in a greenhouse, or conservatory.

Key Features:

  • Dark Purple Fruits — small round fruits ripen to a dark purple to wine colour along the shoots, as clearly seen in the image, adding vibrancy to the vine.
  • Broad Green Leaves — the plant has large entire green leaves, providing the vine with a dense and lush appearance throughout its growth.
  • Climbing Vine — the plant climbs using tendrils and produces long climbing shoots, which are suitable for training over supports, trellises, or pergolas.
  • Fruits are not consumed — the fruits are small and are not typically used for consumption, hence the plant is primarily grown for ornamental purposes.
  • Pot Cultivation — the plant can be grown in a pot with support and can be placed in a greenhouse, conservatory, or bright interior depending on space.
  • Exotic Novelty — a less common species of passionflower that will enhance the grower's collection with an unusual climber featuring small fruits and striking leaves.
  • Suitable for Support Structures — due to its tendrils, it easily covers a trellis, lattice, or pergola, serving as a natural green screen in a greenhouse or conservatory.
  • Pack of 5 Seeds — smaller pack is suitable for trying out cultivation or for collectors looking to expand their collection with a new species of passionflower.
  • Growing from Seeds — you have full control over the entire development of the plant from germination to climbing vine, allowing you to adapt it to your conditions.

Contents of the Pack:

  • 1x pack of Passiflora auriculata seeds (5 pcs)

Passiflora auriculata seeds are an interesting choice for growers looking to expand their collection with an unusual climbing vine. The dark purple fruits and broad green leaves make this passionflower an ornamental climber for both greenhouses and conservatories. The pack contains 5 seeds, allowing you to try growing from the very beginning and observe how a small seed develops into a climbing vine. Cultivating passionflowers from seeds is an engaging process, giving you full control over the plant's development. If you are looking for an exotic climber for the greenhouse or conservatory, these seeds are an excellent choice.
