Pachypodium mikea Seeds 5 pcs Succulent Tree with a Robust Light Stem and a Crown of Green Leaves For Potting and Succulent Collections
You already have the maximum available quantity in your cart.
Pachypodium mikea is a rare succulent tree from Madagascar, which captivates with its robust light stem and sparse crown of small green leaves at the ends of its branches. The tall, bottle-shaped swollen stem stores water, allowing the plant to withstand drought well, as is typical for the Pachypodium genus. The image clearly shows an adult tree with a light stem and branches topped with clusters of leaves. The pack contains 5 seeds, from which you can grow your own plant from scratch. This species is sought after among collectors of caudex succulents and is cultivated in pots.
Key Features:
- Robust light stem — the tall, bottle-shaped swollen stem of a light colour is the main attraction of the tree and stores water for dry periods.
- Crown of green leaves — clusters of small green leaves grow at the ends of the branches, enlivening the otherwise bare stem and enhancing the tree's appearance.
- Succulent tree — this species belongs to caudex succulents, therefore it tolerates drought and requires only careful watering, making it low-maintenance.
- Rare species — Pachypodium mikea is less common among collectors, making it an interesting addition to any succulent and caudex plant collection.
- Bottle-shaped trunk — the trunk widens towards the ground into a bottle shape, which is typical and highly valued among succulent trees from Madagascar.
- Fruits are not edible — the plant is grown exclusively for ornamental and collecting purposes, with no part of it used for consumption and serving only decorative purposes.
- Pot cultivation — the plant is grown in pots in a sunny location and in winter is moved to a bright, warmer room with limited watering.
- Pack of 5 seeds — this smaller pack is suitable for trying out cultivation and for collectors who wish to expand their succulent collection with a new species.
- Growing from seeds — you have full control over the entire development of the plant from germination to trunk formation and can adapt it to your preferences.
Contents of the pack:
- 1x pack of Pachypodium mikea seeds (5 pcs)
Pachypodium mikea seeds are a great choice for succulent collectors and lovers of unusual caudex trees. The robust light stem and crown of green leaves make this plant an eye-catching piece that will adorn windowsills, greenhouses, and succulent collections. The pack contains 5 seeds, allowing you to try growing from the very beginning and gradually shape the trunk's form. Growing caudex succulents from seeds is low-maintenance, but requires patience, as the plants grow slowly. If you are looking for a rarer succulent tree for potting, these seeds are an excellent choice.
