Overview
Merwilla plumbea Seeds 20 pcs Abundant Inflorescences of Small Blue-Violet Star-Shaped Flowers Exotic Bulbous Plant For Pots and Greenhouses

Merwilla plumbea is an exotic bulbous plant that captivates with its abundant inflorescences that resemble delicate blue clouds. The dense flower clusters consist of many small blue-violet star-shaped flowers with a light centre and yellowish anthers. The inflorescences appear airy and delicate, yet they are very striking and cannot be overlooked due to the number of flowers. The pack contains 20 seeds, providing ample material for growing multiple plants and for repeated sowings at later dates. In our conditions, this bulbous plant is primarily grown in pots, greenhouses, or conservatories, where its flowers stand out best.

Key Features:

  • Blue-Violet Flowers — small star-shaped flowers with a light centre are the main adornments of the plant and create a delicate colour effect that enlivens any plant collection.
  • Abundant Inflorescences — flowers grow in large numbers in dense clusters, making the inflorescences appear full and prominent both up close and from a distance.
  • Yellowish Anthers — the light anthers create a subtle contrast in the flowers and add an interesting detail to the inflorescences.
  • Exotic Bulbous Plant — this species differs from commonly grown bulbous plants, making it suitable for collectors and enthusiasts of unusual plants who enjoy trying new species.
  • Potted Cultivation — the plant can be grown in a pot and placed in a greenhouse, conservatory, or other sheltered location according to your options and space.
  • Interesting for Collectors — a plant that you won't commonly see in regular collections, adding variety to any collection of bulbous plants.
  • Pack of 20 Seeds — a larger quantity of seeds increases the chance of successfully growing several plants and allows for repeated sowing, which is a significant advantage for less common species.
  • Growing from Seeds — you can observe the entire development of the plant from germination to the first flowering and obtain specimens grown with your own care, which is especially appreciated by patient growers.

Contents of the Pack:

  • 1x pack of Merwilla plumbea seeds (20 pcs)
