Lavender Seeds Lavandula Pedunculata 50 pcs Purple Flowers Aromatic Perennial For Pot Garden And Rockery Growing From Seeds
You already have the maximum available quantity in your cart.
This set contains 50 seeds of the aromatic perennial Lavandula pedunculata, commonly known as lavender. It is a hardy subshrub that produces striking purple flowers in dense spikes topped with prominent bracts resembling tiny winged caps. The flower spikes grow on longer stems above a clump of narrow grey-green leaves, creating a notable colour accent. Lavender is popular among lovers of aromatic perennials for pots, gardens, and rockeries. Growing from seeds is a rewarding activity, allowing you to observe the entire development of the plant from the first sprout.
Lavender is an undemanding perennial that thrives best in sunny locations with well-drained and relatively dry soil. The plant can be grown in pots on a terrace, in a garden bed, or in a rockery where it receives plenty of sunlight. In cooler areas, it is advisable to grow it in a container and move it indoors to a bright and cooler room during winter. Young plants initially produce small leaves, from which a dense and branching clump gradually develops. In sunny and dry conditions, the plant flourishes best and produces the richest flower set.
