Overview
Juglans Nigra Black Walnut Seeds 4 pcs Green Round Fruits Deciduous Ornamental Tree For Large Garden And Park Cultivation From Seeds

This set contains 4 seeds of the deciduous tree Juglans nigra, known in our region as the black walnut. It is a stately and long-lived deciduous tree that, in adulthood, produces striking green round fruits growing in clusters on the branches. The black walnut is among the popular mature ornamental trees suitable for large gardens, parks, and avenues, where it has enough space for its spreading crown. It is valued by growers primarily for its robustness, resilience, and distinctive appearance. Cultivating from seeds is a long-term and rewarding activity, allowing you to observe the plant's development from the first sprout to a mature tree.

The black walnut is a resilient deciduous tree that is planted in sunny and spacious locations with ample soil moisture. Young plants can initially be grown in a large pot and, once strengthened, transplanted to a permanent location in the garden or park. Before sowing, the seeds are usually stratified in a moist and cool environment, mimicking natural winter conditions and promoting germination. Young seedlings initially produce small leaves, from which a leafy trunk and branching crown gradually develop. In a sunny location with enough space, the tree thrives best and gradually acquires its characteristic spreading appearance each year. As it is a large tree, it is advisable to consider its future size when planting and leave sufficient space for it.
