This set contains 40 seeds of the climbing plant Ipomoea purpurea, commonly known as purple morning glory. From these small seeds, a fast-growing climber with heart-shaped green leaves and striking purple tubular flowers with a light centre will emerge. It is a popular flowering climber suitable for growing in the garden, by the pergola, on fences, or in window boxes on balconies. Growing from seeds is a rewarding activity for gardeners who enjoy flowering climbers and want to observe their development from the first sprouts. The seeds are intended for sowing and subsequent cultivation in the garden or in window boxes.
The large purple tubular flowers with a light centre are among the most distinctive features of this morning glory and densely cover the plant during its flowering period. The climbing stems wrap around supports, allowing the plant to quickly cover a pergola, fence, or trellis. The pack of 40 seeds provides ample material for repeated sowing or for growing multiple plants simultaneously.
Ipomoea purpurea is popular among gardeners seeking a fast-growing flowering climber grown from seeds for the garden or window box. Young plants initially produce small leaves, from which climbing leafy stems gradually develop. Cultivating in a sunny location with support encourages abundant flowering. The grown plant can be used as a flowering wall by a pergola, fence, or as an eye-catching feature on a balcony.
