Overview
Emergency Snow Chains 6006 2 pcs Textile Covers for Tyres R14 to R21 Width 185–275 mm Anti-Slip Black-Red For Snow and Ice

The Emergency Snow Chains model 6006, packaged in sets of 2, are textile anti-slip covers that stretch directly over the tyre and improve wheel grip on snow-covered and icy roads. Model 6006 is designed for tyres R14 to R21 with a width of 185–275 mm, suitable for both personal cars with larger wheels and SUVs. The covers are made from durable black fabric with a red elastic hem that keeps them securely on the wheel. They contain no metal parts, so they will not scratch the rim or paint of the vehicle and are quiet during use. They are lightweight and compact, making them easy to carry in the boot as an emergency kit for sudden snowfall.

  • Durable Fabric — the tread part is made from densely woven fibrous material that is resistant to abrasion. The side facing the tyre is reinforced with yellow stitching.
  • Elastic Hem — the red hem made from elastic material wraps around the rim, ensuring that the cover fits snugly against the tyre and self-centres during driving.
  • Snow Drainage — the fabric has a breathable structure that helps to drain water and snow from the contact area with the road, enhancing the anti-slip effect.
  • No Metal Parts — the covers do not contain hooks, chains, or clips, so they do not damage the tyres, rims, or bodywork.
  • Quick Installation — simply pull the cover over the top of the tyre, drive the vehicle a short distance forward, and then stretch the remainder of the cover over the exposed part of the wheel. After starting, the cover will self-centre.
  • Tyre Sizes — model 6006 fits selected tyre sizes R14 to R21 with a width of 185–275 mm, such as 225/55 R18, 225/65 R16, 235/55 R17, or 255/40 R19. A complete table of compatible sizes is available in the product images. Please verify the size on the side of the tyre and compare it with the table before purchasing.
  • Safe Use — install the covers on the wheels of the driving axle and drive with them at a speed of no more than 40 km/h without sudden braking or acceleration. Remove them on dry asphalt as they wear out more quickly here. Reduce speed further on wet snow.
  • Maintenance — after winter, wash the covers without chemical cleaning agents, allow them to dry, and store them in the bag. Do not leave wet covers overnight in a place where they may freeze, and allow them to dry before the next use.
  • Practical Accessories — the package includes work gloves for clean and comfortable installation and a zip bag with instructions, in which you can store the covers in the boot.
  • Package Contents — 2x textile tyre cover model 6006, 1 pair of work gloves, 1x zip bag, 1 pair of protective storage covers.

The textile snow chains model 6006 are a practical emergency kit for drivers of personal cars and SUVs who need to improve wheel grip on snow and ice. They can be fitted without tools or a jack, and thanks to the elastic hem, they hold firmly on the tyre. As they contain no metal parts, they are gentle on rims and the vehicle's paint. They are suitable for tyres R14 to R21 with a width of 185–275 mm according to the size table and are intended for short distances on snow-covered or icy roads. After use, simply remove them, dry them, and store them back in the provided bag along with the gloves.
