Overview
Emergency Snow Chains 6005 2 pcs Textile Covers for Tyres R14 to R19 Width 175–255 mm Anti-Slip Black-Red For Snow and Ice

The emergency snow chains model 6005 in a pack of 2 pcs are textile anti-slip covers that stretch directly over the tyre and improve wheel grip on snowy and icy roads. Model 6005 is designed for tyres R14 to R19 with a width of 175–255 mm, suitable for passenger cars with wheels of these dimensions. The covers are made from durable black fabric with a red elastic edge that holds them on the wheel. They contain no metal parts, so they will not scratch the rim or the car's paint and are quiet during driving. They are lightweight and compact, making them easy to carry in the boot as emergency equipment in case of sudden snowfall.

  • Durable fabric — the tread part is made from densely woven fibrous material that is resistant to abrasion. The side facing the tyre is reinforced with yellow stitching.
  • Elastic edge — the red edge made from elastic material wraps around the rim, ensuring that the cover fits snugly against the tyre and centres itself during driving.
  • Snow drainage — the fabric has a breathable structure that helps drain water and snow from the contact area with the road, enhancing the anti-slip effect.
  • No metal parts — the covers contain no hooks, chains, or clips, so they do not damage tyres, rims, or the bodywork.
  • Quick installation — simply pull the cover over the top of the tyre, drive the vehicle forward a bit, and stretch the rest of the cover over the exposed part of the wheel. After starting, the cover will centre itself.
  • Tyre dimensions — model 6005 is suitable for selected tyre sizes R14 to R19 with a width of 175–255 mm, such as 215/65 R16, 225/55 R17, 235/45 R18, or 245/40 R18. A complete table of compatible sizes is available in the product images. Please check the size on the side of the tyre before purchasing and compare it with the table.
  • Safe usage — fit the covers to the wheels of the drive axle and drive at a speed of no more than 40 km/h without sudden braking or acceleration. Remove them on dry asphalt, as they wear out more quickly in these conditions. Reduce speed further on wet snow.
  • Maintenance — after winter, wash the covers without chemical cleaning agents, allow them to dry, and store them in the bag. Do not leave wet covers overnight in a place where they may freeze, and allow them to dry before the next use.
  • Practical accessories — included in the package are working gloves for clean and comfortable installation and a zippered bag with instructions, in which you can store the covers in the boot.
  • Package contents — 2x textile tyre cover model 6005, 1 pair of working gloves, 1x zippered bag, 1 pair of protective storage covers.

The textile snow chains model 6005 are a practical emergency accessory for drivers of passenger cars who need to improve wheel grip on snow and ice. They are fitted without tools and without a jack, and thanks to the elastic edge, they hold firmly on the tyre. As they contain no metal parts, they are gentle on rims and the car's paint. They are suitable for tyres R14 to R19 with a width of 175–255 mm according to the size table and are intended for short stretches on snowy or icy roads. After use, simply remove them, dry them, and store them back in the provided bag along with the gloves.
