Overview
Emergency Snow Chains 6004 2 pcs Textile Covers for Tyres R14 to R19 Width 165–245 mm Anti-Slip Black-Red For Snow and Ice

The Emergency Snow Chains model 6004, sold in a pack of 2, are textile anti-slip covers that stretch directly over the tyre, improving wheel traction on snowy and icy roads. The model 6004 is designed for tyres R14 to R19 with a width of 165–245 mm, suitable for cars with wheels of these dimensions. The covers are made from durable black fabric with a red elastic hem that keeps them securely on the wheel. They contain no metal parts, ensuring they do not scratch the rim or the car's paintwork and are quiet during use. They are lightweight and compact, making them easy to carry in the boot as an emergency kit for sudden snowfall.

  • Durable Fabric — the tread part is made from densely woven fibrous material that is abrasion-resistant. The side facing the tyre is reinforced with yellow stitching.
  • Elastic Hem — the red hem made from elastic material wraps around the rim, ensuring the cover fits snugly against the tyre and self-centres during driving.
  • Snow Drainage — the fabric has a breathable structure that helps drain water and snow from the contact area with the road, enhancing the anti-slip effect.
  • No Metal Parts — the covers contain no hooks, chains or clips, so they do not damage the tyres, rims or bodywork.
  • Quick Installation — simply pull the cover over the top of the tyre, drive the vehicle forward a short distance and stretch the rest of the cover over the exposed part of the wheel. After starting, the cover will self-centre.
  • Tyre Dimensions — model 6004 fits selected tyre sizes R14 to R19 with a width of 165–245 mm, for example 195/65 R15, 205/55 R16, 215/45 R17 or 225/40 R18. A complete table of compatible sizes is available in the product images. Please verify the size on the side of the tyre and compare it with the table before purchasing.
  • Safe Use — install the covers on the wheels of the drive axle and drive at a speed of no more than 40 km/h without sudden braking or acceleration. Remove them on dry asphalt as they wear out more quickly in such conditions. Reduce speed further on wet snow.
  • Maintenance — after winter, wash the covers without chemical cleaning agents, allow them to dry, and store them in the bag. Do not leave wet covers overnight in a place where they may freeze, and allow them to dry before the next use.
  • Practical Accessories — included in the pack are working gloves for clean and comfortable installation and a zippered bag with instructions, in which you can store the covers in the boot.
  • Package Contents — 2x textile tyre cover model 6004, 1 pair of working gloves, 1x zippered bag, 1 pair of protective storage covers.

The textile snow chains model 6004 are a practical emergency kit for drivers of cars who need to improve wheel traction on snow and ice. They can be fitted without tools or a jack, and thanks to the elastic hem, they hold firmly on the tyre. As they contain no metal parts, they are gentle on both the rims and the car's paintwork. They are suitable for tyres R14 to R19 with a width of 165–245 mm according to the size table and are intended for short distances on snowy or icy roads. After use, simply remove them, dry them, and store them back in the provided bag along with the gloves.
