Emergency Snow Chains 6001 2 pcs Textile Covers for Tyres 145/80 R12 and 155/65 R13 Anti-Slip Black-Red For Snow and Ice
You already have the maximum available quantity in your cart.
The Emergency Snow Chains model 6001 in a pack of 2 pcs are textile anti-slip covers that stretch directly over the tyre and improve the grip of the wheels on snowy and icy roads. Model 6001 is designed for tyres 145/80 R12, 145 R12 and 155/65 R13, suitable for small passenger cars with smaller wheels. The covers are made from durable black fabric with a red elastic edge that keeps them on the wheel. They contain no metal parts, so they will not scratch the rim or paint of the vehicle and are quiet while driving. They are lightweight and compact, making them easy to carry in the boot as an emergency kit in case of sudden snowfall.
- Durable Fabric — the tread part is made from densely woven fibrous material that is resistant to abrasion. The side facing the tyre is reinforced with yellow stitching.
- Elastic Edge — the red edge made of elastic material wraps around the rim, ensuring that the cover fits snugly to the tyre and centres itself during driving.
- Snow Drainage — the fabric has a breathable structure that helps drain water and snow from the contact area with the road, enhancing the anti-slip effect.
- No Metal Parts — the covers contain no hooks, chains or clips, so they do not damage the tyres, rims or bodywork.
- Quick Installation — simply pull the cover over the top of the tyre, drive the vehicle forward a short distance and stretch the rest of the cover over the exposed part of the wheel. After starting, the cover will centre itself automatically.
- Tyre Sizes — model 6001 is suitable for tyres 145/80 R12, 145 R12 and 155/65 R13. Please check the size on the side of the tyre before purchasing.
- Safe Use — fit the covers to the wheels of the drive axle and drive with them at a speed of no more than 40 km/h without sudden braking or acceleration. Remove them on dry asphalt as they wear out faster here. Reduce speed further on wet snow.
- Maintenance — after winter, wash the covers without chemical cleaning agents, let them dry and store them in the bag. Do not leave wet covers overnight in a place where they may freeze, and allow them to dry before the next use.
- Practical Accessories — included in the package are working gloves for clean and comfortable installation and a zip bag with instructions, in which you can store the covers in the boot.
- Package Contents — 2x textile tyre cover model 6001, 1 pair of working gloves, 1x zip bag, 1 pair of protective covers for storage.
The textile snow chains model 6001 are a practical emergency kit for drivers of small cars who need to improve the grip of their wheels on snow and ice. They are fitted without tools and without a jack, and thanks to the elastic edge, they hold firmly on the tyre. As they contain no metal parts, they are gentle on rims and the vehicle's paintwork. They are suitable for tyres 145/80 R12, 145 R12 and 155/65 R13 and are intended for short distances on snowy or icy roads. After use, simply remove them, dry them and store them back in the provided bag along with the gloves.
