When a pump, headlight, or air conditioning stops working in a vehicle, the relay is often one of the first components to check, but its condition cannot be determined by mere visual inspection. This digital relay detector combines two functions in one device, as it not only checks the relay but also measures the car battery voltage and displays the result numerically on the screen. The test evaluation is colour-coded, with green indicating a functioning relay and red indicating a faulty one, so the result can be recognised immediately without studying tables. The device works with relays that have four or five pins and draws power directly from the car battery, so it does not require any internal batteries. The voltage measurement range is from 11 V to 25 V, covering measurements on the battery during testing as well as the vehicle's idle state.
Switching between 4-pin and 5-pin configurations is managed by a sliding switch on the bottom of the panel, and the actual measurement is initiated by the TEST button next to it. Relays with coil resistance from 20 Ω can be tested, which corresponds to common components used in automotive wiring. The connection to the battery ends with a pair of crocodile clips with a length of 42 cm and a jaw opening of 2.1 cm, allowing easy access to both terminals even on batteries located deeper in the engine compartment. A 12V car battery is required for accurate measurement, with voltage within the specified range.

How do I return goods?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the items you are returning.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
