Children's sock booties with a hippo in apricot design are intended for wearing at home as well as slippers for nursery. The upper made of soft polyester with a gentle fleece texture wraps around the foot like a sock and does not pinch anywhere. An elastic strap runs across the instep, keeping the bootie on the foot even during quick movements. The bottom part consists of a rubber sole. The entrance and strap have a contrasting mint trim.
Putting them on is a matter of one movement, as the booties have no zip or Velcro, allowing the child to put them on without assistance. The mint trim around the entrance reinforces the edge and prevents it from stretching during frequent wearing. The elastic strap across the instep addresses the most common shortcoming of soft booties, namely the shoe slipping off the heel while walking.
On the toe is a hippo motif, which makes the simple bootie a more striking piece of children's equipment. The apricot shade is light and easily combines with children's clothing of various colours. The booties are suitable for home instead of slippers, for nursery, and for travel, as they take up minimal space in a bag. The rubber sole separates the foot from the cold floor and withstands everyday wear.
The cut follows the shape of the foot, so there are no excess folds in the shoe and the material does not wrinkle anywhere.
