Shin and instep guards in size L are combat leg protectors for adult athletes with longer shins. The shin part measuring 38 cm covers the shins of taller individuals, and the instep part measuring 17 cm protects the top of the foot. The guards are secured on the leg with two Velcro straps that fasten at the back of the calf. They are suitable for boxing and other martial arts where kicking and blocking with the legs are involved. You will find them useful during technique training, bag kicks, and sparring with a partner.
- Longer shin part — the guard measures 38 cm from the bottom of the knee to the ankle. It absorbs impacts during shin kicks and when blocking opponent's kicks.
- Instep guard — the instep part measuring 17 cm is placed on the foot and protects its upper side. Together with the shin part, it also covers the front of the ankle.
- Straps for thicker calves — the upper strap measures 35 cm and the lower 27 cm. The longer straps will wrap around even more robust calves, and the Velcro allows for adjustable tightness.
- Open back — the guard only covers the front of the leg, held in place by straps at the back. It is quick to put on, and the calf remains free. You can put them on and take them off without assistance, for example, between rounds of training.
- Curved shape — the shin part is shaped according to the front of the leg, so it follows the contour of the shin during movement. The edges are bound all around.
- Size L — shin part 38 cm, instep part 17 cm, upper strap 35 cm and lower strap 27 cm. This size is designed for adults with longer shins and thicker calves.
- How to choose — measure the length of the shin from 5 cm below the kneecap to the centre of the ankle. If your measurement falls between sizes M and L, the manufacturer recommends choosing the smaller size M.
- Accuracy of dimensions — the manufacturer states that individual dimensions may vary by approximately 0.5 cm.
- Usage — boxing and other martial arts with kicks and shin blocks. The guards are suitable for training in clubs, individual lessons with a coach, and home workouts.
- Package contents — 1x pair of shin and instep guards.
Shin and instep guards in size L are suitable for adult athletes who find smaller guards insufficient. The shin part of 38 cm and the instep part of 17 cm cover the front of the leg from the knee to the foot. The longer Velcro straps will wrap around thicker calves and keep the guard in place. You will find the guards useful during boxing training and other martial arts. The package includes 1 pair of shin and instep guards.
