Overview
Phoenix acaulis Date Palm Seeds 20 pcs Low Palm with Feathered Leaves and Edible Fruits For Pots and Greenhouses and Conservatories

Phoenix acaulis is a low palm from the date palm genus, appreciated by growers for its charming feathered leaves and nearly stemless growth. The long, arching feathered leaves grow directly from the ground and create a dense fan, as clearly seen in the plant image. Unlike tall date palms, this palm remains low and grows slowly, making it suitable for smaller spaces. The small fruits are edible and have a sweet flesh when ripe, similar to its related date palms. The pack contains 20 seeds, providing you with a sufficient supply to grow multiple palms and for repeated sowing.

Key features:

  • Feathered leaves — long arching feathered leaves grow directly from the ground, creating a dense fan that is the main decoration of the palm.
  • Low stemless growth — unlike tall date palms, this palm remains low and almost stemless, making it suitable for smaller spaces.
  • Edible small fruits — the small fruits are edible and, like its related date palms, have a sweet flesh when ripe.
  • Slow growth — the palm grows slowly, remaining compact for a long time and suitable for pot cultivation in limited spaces.
  • Pot cultivation — young palms can be grown in pots and placed in a greenhouse, conservatory, or bright interior according to space.
  • Exotic appearance — the palm adds a tropical atmosphere to the space and is popular among growers and collectors of exotic plants.
  • Suitable for smaller spaces — due to its low growth, it is also suitable for windowsills, flats, or terraces, where it takes up little space and looks decorative.
  • Evergreen fan — the palm retains its green foliage all year round, remaining ornamental even in the winter months in a bright interior.
  • Pack of 20 seeds — a larger supply of seeds allows for the cultivation of multiple palms at once, repeated sowing at different times, and sharing with other growers.
  • Growing from seeds — you have complete control over the palm's development from germination to a young plant, allowing you to adapt it to your conditions.
  • Hardy palm — date palms are among the hardier palms, making them manageable even for less experienced growers.

Contents of the package:
